Elena Ortiz de Solórzano

Elena is a lawyer at the Madrid Bar and has experience in the field of European institutions and international relations at national and EU level.

After working as a lawyer for two years at Gómez-Acebo y Pombo, Elena was a researcher at the think-tank European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) on the protection of investments by the European Union. She co-authored a report on the protection of European investments by the European Union following the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty.
Elena joined Vinces in September 2014 from Brussels, after having worked in the European Commission and the European Parliament, and later on advising clients in the pharmaceutical, intellectual property and trade sectors, as a consultant for public affairs at the firm Hill&Knowlton Strategies.

Elena holds a double degree in Spanish and French law by Universities Complutense and Sorbonne and a Masters in International Legal Practice by the Instituto de Empresa. She has a diploma in EU studies from the Diplomatic College in Madrid.

She is bilingual in English and French.
